We fully understand that studying abroad is a big decision to make and every international student has his or her own specific needs and requirements. At Intercambio we aim to help you identify the study programme that meets your personal, academic or professional needs and we will provide you with advice, help and support throughout the application and enrolment process.

The Services we Offer to International Students:

• Course information about Undergraduate and Postgraduate Masters, PhD/Research Programmes and English language courses.
• Assistance and help to secure a study place at one of the institutions we represent through our application processing service.
• Official translations of all your documents.
• Advice to help you apply for your international student visa.
• Help in arranging transfers from the airport to your study destination after arrival in the United Kingdom.
• Assistance and advice in finding appropriate student accommodation (in university halls of residence, homestay family or private sector student housing.)
• A pre-arrival information pack or pre-arrival meeting in your country (whichever one is more appropriate.)

After you've arrived in the UK we also offer:

• An information pack including a map of the city in which you will be studying.
• Ongoing support, help and advice throughout your stay in the UK from staff based in our UK office.
• Help and advice on issues such as part-time work, housing and travel whilst in the UK.

You are entitled to all these services for free when you apply and enrol on your course through Intercambio.  

Further Services to International Students:

• We can help you secure a study room through our direct accommodation booking service. This service is offered in partnership with one of the UK's largest student accommodation providers. All rooms we have available for our students are located in popular city centre destinations and are of a very high standard.
• We offer all our international students a special, discounted International Student Policy for student studying in the UK. The policy provides students with specially designed cover for emergency medical expenses, baggage, repatriation, personal belongings, course fees, etc. Although insurance is optional we strongly recommend all international students to take out insurance for their own personal and financial security. 
• We can provide UK mobile phone SIM cards or special-rate international calling cards to our international students. This will ensure that family and friends can contact you immediately after you've arrived in the UK.

Looking for Tailor-made English Language Study and Travel Programmes?

Intercambio has extensive experience in arranging tailored programmes for large study groups as well as multi-group language travel across the UK.

For groups of students we can arrange tailor-made, all-inclusive packages which include:

• Airport transfers
• Accommodation (either homestay, halls of residence or hotel)
• Tailored English and English Plus study programmes
• Tailored social and activity programmes
• Group insurance policy
• Transport by executive coach
• Multi-lingual ('Blue Badge') tourist guides.

Each tour group will be assigned a dedicated member of staff from our UK office for the duration of their stay which ensures that our clients have access to 24/7 support.
