MBAs

MBA (Master of Business Administration) programmes are available at many universities and higher education institutions throughout the UK, including the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University.

The MBA course is designed to equip managers with the skills needed to progress to senior management within their organisation. MBA courses typically cover core areas such as accounting, marketing, human resource management, finance and business strategy. High quality MBA courses are accredited by the AMBA (Association for MBAs) as well as offering electives in areas such as corporate social responsibility.

To obtain a place on an MBA programme students usually require an undergraduate degree in a related subject with a strong CGPA from a good university and at least 3 years of work experience, preferably in a management role, as well as a good level of English. However, entry requirements do vary according to the institution.
